Context
"Now Is Not The Time" is an immersive experience commemorating the 100th anniversary of Singapore's Founding Father, Lee Kuan Yew. This exhibition is a collaboration with world-renowned contemporary artist Daniel Arsham.

Our Scope of Work: Infinite Reality Studio was commissioned to create a series of interactive artworks for the exhibition. These artworks encompass a wide range of mediums, including data-driven generative art, video art, and CGI animation.

Solution: Can Digital Art Be Poetic? We explored the question of whether a digital, high-tech recollection of a person can be poetic.

LKY's Unfamiliar Side: Beyond his well-known, strong political stances, a lesser-known, softer side of LKY is his fondness for gardening and flower planting. We incorporated this aspect into the artwork.

The Orchid's Symbolism: The orchid, Singapore's national flower, also plays a significant role. Unlike other flowers, orchids thrive best in controlled, man-made environments. This characteristic parallels Singapore's history as a nation. Despite facing environmental fluctuations, success has been achieved through human effort and resilience.

A New Approach to Portraiture: The exhibition aims to be not only a commemoration of Lee Kuan Yew (LKY) but also a new take on the portrayal of a revered political figure. This new approach should resonate with a Gen-Z audience.

The Cohesive Force: "Hybrid Botanical" became the central concept driving the visual elements of the exhibition, even though we collaborated with many artists during the creation process. This concept ensured thematic unity throughout the show.
